An innovative project in partnership with Frimley ICB and South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, EBPC GPs work on the 111 platform to provide senior Primary Care consultations to patients who are registered with an East Berkshire GP and, following 111 triage it has been established that the patient needs to contact their own GP surgery. Instead of being passed to individual practices, these calls are manged via a centralised Primary CAS acting on behalf of all East Berkshire GPs.  The effect is a great patient experience and reduced 111 traffic through Primary Care.
