Joanne Inness

Head of Clinical Governance & Quality

After a short time working in business, Jo joined the ambulance service in 1997 and enjoyed frontline roles before moving into specialist clinical practice in Urgent Care. It was in the Urgent Care arena that Jo developed her passion for leadership and governance, and she hasn't looked back.

Jo maintains HCPC registration, has led the governance agenda for two IUC providers. Within EBPC, Jo is credited with directing governance activities, developing our quality agenda, and leading all aspects of clinical assurance.

Matt Widdows

Chief Operating Officer 

Matt joined EBPC in October 2022 as Head of Operations and Data Protection Officer with responsibility for all aspects of EBPC operations. Matt has spent the last 20 years in the ambulance service operating in both 999 emergency operations and 111 transformation and development regionally and nationally.

Matt is passionate about high performing operational delivery to support patients, their families and our people. Matt has extensive experience in using technical innovation to collaborate with other providers and mentor to develop individuals and teams to succeed.

Matthew Redmond

Head of Finance

Matthew joined EBPC in March 2018 as Business and Contracts Manager, with 15 years’ experience working in finance roles in both the private and public sector he soon moved over to the finance team to take on the role of financial lead within the organisation.

Matthew is responsible for all financial matters at EBPC. Overseeing the accounting, financial reporting and providing strategic financial leadership, Matthew also plays a key role in negotiating contracts and ensuring sustainability and profitability of the company.
